When shipping by rail, the only items you are allowed to have inside your vehicle are tires and child seats. If you absolutely have to put other items inside your vehicle, we may be able to accommodate it by shipping your vehicle via truck.

How would my vehicle be secured to the train?

As specialized designed wheel chalk is used to secure your vehicle to the train. The device stops your vehicle from moving and only your tires are in contact with the device and the train. Your vehicle is not strapped or chained.

Is shipping my car with CP Rail safe?
